There's some trees in our neighborhood that have small white flowers and have a kind of doughy scent. They've got fairly big leaves, and make good shade trees. Any idea what they are? We live in central Texas but I don't know if these trees only grow in this area or not.
Trying to identify a tree with small white flowers?
I have a link to a website that is great for identifying trees. It asks questions and you answer as they pertain to the tree. I have used it and it worked excellent. Hope it works for you.

On the link, click on Leaf Key and go on step by step. It is super simple.
Reply:take a picture of one and post it. it is hard to describe a tree. unless you say there is apples hanging from it.
Reply:Could be bradford pear, or white dogwood. They're blooming right now. Both nice trees.
