How often does a Fly Trap flower? Also how many flowers does it usually have?

We have had ours since 4-21-06. It already had three white flowers(yesturday),and now a new stem with buds is growing.

How often does a Fly Trap flower? Also how many flowers does it usually have?
They usually flower once in the spring and can send up multiple scapes depending on health and size of the plant.

Things to remember:


carnivorous plant NoNos:


No meat of any kind. Meat rots and it will kill them


No force feeding or playing with the traps trying to get them to close.


No fertilizer of any kind. Pot carnivorous plants in a 50/50 mix of peat moss and perlite only.


No straight tap water. Use filtered tap, aged tap or distilled and rain (preferred)
