The thing with your wedding is YOU CAN HAVE WHATEVER YOU WANT!! :) My fiance and I are having all red rose at our reception and red and white ones at the ceremony. You need to do whatever makes you happy. It's your wedding and the only opinions that matter are your and the grooms!! GOOD LUCK!
Are red and white flowers ok for a wedding?
I think they would be gorgeous and very elegant as long as it is in the color scheme of the wedding.
Reply:i have been doing wedding flowers for 5 years now and yes they are okay for a wedding. it depends a lot on what colors your bridesmaids are wearing, what time of year the wedding is, what types of flowers you are using and so on. red and white can be ugly sometimes, but if you do it right it can be beautiful. if you want to ask me any fllower ?'s my email is a_bad_fish_2@yahoo.com
Reply:If it were me I'd stick to White and maybe a light light purple. No red! It stands out to much.
Reply:Yes. My wedding colors were red and black so we had red and white flowers. I was at a wedding in December that was the same way. I also have two weddings coming up that are also red and black. I'm sure they'll probably have red and white flowers, too.
Reply:sure, add some greenery.
Reply:Sure. I was a Christmas wedding and we carried red and white roses, they were just beautiful. (my girls wore burgundy dresses and our roses were a deep dark red)
Reply:I think so. I've seen it done very nicely before. Those are my flower colors also. Red roses and white sweet pea
Reply:Sure, why not ?
Reply:I sure hope so, that's what I'm doing!
Reply:Definitely - my bouquet was red and white and was beautiful
Reply:Absolutely. My wedding colors are red and white. America is one of the few countries that hasn't caught on to the whole red standing for love thing. In Europe tons of brides wear red wedding dresses and in Countries like India, they wouldn't dream of wearing white. China also uses red primarily. (Ever seen the double happiness symbol? Its usually in red) Red is the color of love so why not? I think it looks beautiful and contemporary and as long as you don't go overboard with the red and stick to mostly accents, it doesn't look like someone bled all over the place either.
Reply:Yes. Its a beautiful elegant look. I personnally like the look of red roses and small silk lilies of the valley...
Reply:red isnt really a good color for a wedding it is to stand outish it would take the attention off everything else in the wedding I dont think I have every seen red in a wedding I would try maybe a pink and white those are good wedding colors
Reply:i pick those same colors for my wedding. i think the key is to either have a florist who can make an arrange that is just right or know how to do it urself without having too much of one color.
it's your wedding. go with what makes you happy.
