What will happen if you put a bunch of white flowers into red dye?

They won't be white for much longer.

What will happen if you put a bunch of white flowers into red dye?
the white flowers will turn red slowly
Reply:When it asorbs the water it will absorb the dye and after a day or so will turn a pinkish color...
Reply:From what I've read, the answer depends upon the type of flower you use. Some flowers don't change color. Most experiments suggest using carnations, which should absorb the color of the dye and change color. This link has posts from people who tried this experiment and their results: http://pbskids.org/zoom/activities/sci/c...
