Here's some help: http://whatsthatbug.com/whiteflies.html
Fuchsia flowers are infected by small white flies. How do i get rid of those flies?
Tobacco and hot sauce in a sprayer with water
Reply:Use some saddlesoap. The Safer brand is the one i've used.
Reply:Sounds like aphids. Go to a gardening store and buy some ladybugs to release in your yard. They'll get rid of (eat) the aphids without leaving chemical residue behind.
Reply:Proably aphids. Use any commercial broad spetrum insecticide.Spray from a distance so you are not saturating the blossoms. Or you could try hosing them off, Again be careful as fuschia blossoms are fragile. Now, here's what you can do next time you plant fuschias. In the hole you make for the plant place a few grannules of a systemic insecticide. The plant takes this up throuegh its' root system and makes the plant undesirable for insects. Or you can do what I did this year because I forgot the systemic poison.. So, rather than dig up the plants I gave them some marigold friends. That worked well, too. Good Luck.
